Ways to stay connected using exercise
Exercise is not only great for your physical and mental health but can also be a fun way to socialise! Here are some ways to stay connected using exercise:
Exercise classes
Whether in person or online, exercise classes are a great way to meet new people while getting fit! There are loads of great exercise classes out there for all abilities! When you join the Low Carb Program you will have access to a variety of different exercise classes, including aerobics, pilates, yoga and strength-training.
Exercise challenges
Exercise challenges are not only a great way to stay motivated, but also to stay in touch with your friends or make some new friends! You could for example set yourself a challenge of exercising for a certain amount of time each week or a distance to run each week and then share your progress with your friends and maybe even have a prize for the winner at the end of the challenge! It gives you something to talk about plus who doesn’t love a good challenge?

Connect your smart watch/running apps with others
Another way to staying connected using exercise is to connect your exercise apps with friends! Whether this is your apple watch or maybe Strava account, many fitness apps now allow you to share your progress with friends. This can be a great way to keep yourself accountable, but also a nice reason to get in contact with a friend to congratulate them for an impressive workout session.
Have active meetups with your friends
Aside from just going to exercise classes together you could also suggest that instead of going for a coffee, you and your friends go on a bike ride together, or even play tennis or just have fun at a trampoline park. That way you get to spend time with your favourite people while still getting in some physical activity.
